Old Monkland Primary winners of new kit for school

Local Primary School wins Club Competition – Coatbridge Rovers give prize of full set of strips for their school.

Old Monkland Primary School in Coatbridge were one of many schools who took part in the Euro 2020 competition, organised by Coatbridge Rovers FC on Twitter. The contest was for each school to enter images either digitally or hand drawn which encompasses both the Scotland National Team being at their first major tournament in over 2 decades, with the theme of ‘Friendship’

From hundreds of entries, it was young Sophie from Primary 5 at Old Monkland Primary, whose entry caught the judges eye and won her school a set of strips from Utilita.

Congratulations and well done Sophie and to all the entrants in the competition, there are far too many to list but you all done remarkably well and we’re so happy that you all took part in the contest.
